This Is What Good Weed Looks Like
Marijuana Legalization and Regulation
Since the late 1960s, the federal government has mandated that all marijuana used in research has to come from the federal government.
Researchers are usually given sh#t weed with low THC levels and low CBD levels. This will help to ensure that researchers will not have many medical breakthroughs. That’s the government current approach towards Marijuana Legalization and Regulation for research purposes.
The first experiment aiming for Marijuana Legalization documenting pot’s potent anti-cancer effects took place in 1974 at the Medical College of Virginia at the behest federal bureaucrats. The results of that study, reported in an Aug. 18, 1974, Washington Post newspaper feature, were that marijuana’s primary psychoactive component, THC, “slowed the growth of lung cancers, breast cancers and a virus-induced leukemia in laboratory mice, and prolonged their lives by as much as 36 percent.”
Why Is marijuana illegal
There are many reasons why Marijuana Legalization has taken so long. One of the primary causes is that too many industries would be negatively effected from the sales and distribution of marijuana related products. A couple industry that would be negatively affected is our health care system, construction, and even the clothing industry. To ensure continued profits, the government had to suppress all obvious benefits .Including health benefits which resulted in thousands of unnecessary deaths from illnesses that could have been cured. A researcher should be allowed to grow and test their own strains. Prohibition of anything will never work if it is against what the people want Marijuana Legalization.
