Senior Citizens Arrested For Selling Weed: With the growing public acceptance for the use of marijuana in different forms. Senior citizens are also realizing the benefits of using marijuana. Many senior patients have decided to replace prescription drug with a more herbal approach. The problem is most of the senior that are making the switch live in illegal states. Which means countless amounts of seniors are currently breaking state and federal laws. Personally I don’t think that any senior should be arrested or fined for using or growing marijuana. Most seniors are not smoking for recreational purposes and even if they are what’s the problem. How would you feel about your grandparents using marijuana? I also believe that it has a lot to do with profits and money.

If more and more older people stop taking prescribed medicine and turn to a more herbal approach, the pharmaceutical industry would loss profits. America is a for profit country, so anything that may stop or hinder profits within certain industries will be stopped. Hopefully in the near future senior citizens will be able to make the decision to decided, what’s best for their health. The government should have never been allowed to tell the people, what they can and cant do when it comes, to a individual life style or health. How can a nation of people truly be free without the freedom to do as they so choose.

I think there were many mistakes made in this situation. The first one was the insurance agent, who should have just asked the homeowners what the plants were. He could have avoided all of this but instead he decided to take pictures and turn them in. I am glad that this couple has decided to take legal actions against both the insurance agent and police. This is an example of when minding other people business goes wrong.

I think that the fact that she is old woman and looks so innocent, is how she got away with it for so long. I still don’t think she should go to jail, even though she did break the law. I don’t think she is a threat to society or her community. If anything she was a pillar of the community. Well that might be a stretch lol but still. If it was your grandmother would you want her to be arrested. I am sure everyone in her community was aware of what she was doing. If she was responsible for 40% of all weed sells in her area, she was hustling and I cant be mad at a true hustler.

This couple was on a mission, they picked up over 60 pounds of weed. Their excuse was they were going to give it all out as Christmas presents. I think they were just trying to spread that Christmas joy.
